Comayagua Cathedral
The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, built between 1634 and 1711, is the symbol of Comayagua. Its baroque facade and interior house priceless artistic treasures, including a gold-bathed altar. Its tower clock, crafted around 1100 by the Arabs and gifted by King Philip III of Spain, is one of the oldest functioning clocks in the world.

León Alvarado Central Plaza
The heart of Comayagua since colonial times. Formerly known as Plaza Mayor, it is the second most important urban space of the Honduras governorship. Surrounded by the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, the former City Hall, and the most emblematic civil and religious buildings of the city.

San Sebastián Church
Colonial church built in 1580, the third oldest in Honduras. With its white facade and golden details, it is one of the most iconic churches in the historic center of Comayagua.
